An introduction to Oticity

Oticity is a pervasive computing networking technology that guarantees usability of compliant devices in a heterogeneous network environment. A single certification mark for virtually and suitable physical connectivity guarantees that the device will be usable to a consumer. This gives a manufacturer confidence to deploy standalone devices, and a consumer confidence that a new device is guaranteed to integrate seamlessly with their existing Oticity devices. Oticity is suitable for many types of devices, including IEEE-1394 home entertainment devices, kitchen appliances, various household and garden gadgets and in-vehicles devices.
